Religious Education

Education at All Souls is available for children and adults. The Children's Religious Education program, called the Wondering Center is directed by Frances Mercer, and assisted by Chris Coughlin. It is held during the Sunday service and often follows themes related to the service topic.  Contact Francis Mercer if you would like to contribute to the Children's Religious Education program.

The adult religious education program is centered around Discussion Hour.  Robert South coordinates an informal discussion group between 9:30-10:15 before Sunday service. In an informal setting members and visitors discuss miscellaneous topics.  He welcomes and encourages presentations by congregational members.  The first Sunday of each month is focused on introductory Unitarian Universalism, the second Sunday is discussion of a book we have chosen for a common read, and the other two Sundays address provocative questions of the day or for all time, with short videos on the topic interspersed with periods of conversation in which everyone shares their opinions.
