Hospitality Volunteers
In our spiritual community an understanding exists that ministry is something shared by all to benefit the church, the congregation, and ultimately the world. Ministry happens when individuals believe their volunteering, their labor, and their time furthers the congregation's mission and vision. Our congregants teach children, mentor youths, welcome newcomers, plan and participate in worship services, host social events, participate in fund raising, work toward building a just world, and care for each other. Sharing ministry means volunteering for simple tasks such as serving as coffee hour host, usher, or greeter. It fosters a sense of generosity and strengthens our faith community.
