Since August 2025, Unitarian Universalist Minister Cindy Terlazzo has been the pastor of All Souls. Reverend Terlazzo and her husband moved to Rochester to be closer to their grandchildren. Terlazzo is also the pastor at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Canandaigua, Ontario County. In Watertown, she will do a mix of in-person and online services.
She entered the profession of ministry late in life, after raising a family with her husband, John. They began attending a UU church in 1999.
“I like the idea that there is an attempt to make room for everybody, regardless of a particular orientation to what spirit is calling somebody to,” she says.
Reverend Cindy provides All Souls with not only Sunday morning sermons, but pastoral care, and she provides guidance to the church’s elected board and committees.
She says, “I’m very eager to engage in traveling with this community of people and seeing how we can build community — both within the context of the congregation and within the Watertown community, because I think we’re living in a time where we need to be able to see human beings as human, and not as a particular label. I say that as part of the important work we have to do.”
