I have been a Unitarian Universalist for 18 years, journeying through several Christian denominations and Buddhism along the way. I earned my Master of Divinity along with a certificate in Interfaith Leadership from Andover Newton Theological School. My seminary experience included immersion experiences studying interfaith approaches to non-violence in Myanmar and Religious Education in and across religious traditions in Israel/Palestine, as well continuing education classes at the Boston Islamic Seminary.
Among my top priorities are interfaith dialogue and cooperation, as well as the intersection of food and faith, as catalysts for spiritual growth and social justice.
I completed my field education at Simple Church (United Methodist) in Grafton, MA, and my ministerial internship at First Unitarian Universalist Society of Syracuse. I am currently enrolled in my second unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (chaplaincy) at Upstate University Hospital.
I earned a Master of Arts (Reading Education) degree from the University of South Florida and had previous careers in teaching, social services, and business.
Currently residing in Syracuse, I am a native Floridian whose family has lived there since the 1600’s. I grew up next to my grandfather’s strawberry farm outside of Plant City, Florida.
